Q: How do I find out if you're available? A: Give us a call or use the online enquiry form. Details and links can be found on the 'Contact' page of this website. Music Q: What type of music do you play? A: Probably the question that's asked the most. What we don't do is stereotype! For example, if it's an 18th we wont necessarily play dance music all night just because it's an 18th. No matter what the occasion is we work to the audience who are present and aim to get them up dancing and have a really good time. Q: Do you have up-to-date music? A: Yes, we update our music weekly, buying all the top chart singles. We don't wait until they come out on compilation albums. Also, we are online during the performance so any special requests we don't have in our library can be downloaded as long as it's available in the iTunes store. Q: I've got our wedding song on CD. I'll give it to you on the night. Is that okay? A: That's fine, we have a CD player. Please make sure the disc is in good condition as dirty/faulty CD's can jump or stick. Q: I am a singer. Can I use your equipment? A: Only persons named on the Very Disco insurance policy are permitted to handle/use Very Disco equipment. Other Related Services Q: Do you provide photography? A: No but for recommended services, click on the 'Other services' link from the main menu. Payment/Prices Q: I have been getting quotes for £300 plus. You're far cheaper so what's the catch? Do you have lights and decent sound equipment? A: Our rates are based on 'the going rate' for the St.Helens and Warrington area and our equipment is top quality. If you require more information about what equipment we use, please contact us by email. Also, if you hire a disco through an agency it will cost more because your paying agency fees as well as for a DJ. Lastly, you may of had quotes from companies based in London. Any traders in and around the London area charge significantly more for their services. Q: Do I have to pay a deposit? A: No, we do not require a deposit. Q: How do I pay? A: You can pay online using Paypal or you can pay the DJ in cash at the event. Sorry, we don't accept payment by cheque (except schools and colleges). Q: I have had a quote for £100. Can you beat that? A: Sorry, no! We could not provide the services we offer if we charged less than what we do. The person who asked this question telephoned back on the night of the event explaining that the DJ hadn't turned up and asked us if we could help. Also, please be aware of traders who are not exactly legal. Always ask for evidence of insurance and a certificate of Portable Appliance Testing because if anything goes wrong, who's liable? And that's if they turn up! Service Q: Do you provide a white board to project on? A: Sorry no but if you can find a light coloured wall in the venue large enough, that will do the trick! Q: Do you do karaoke? A: Sorry, no! Q: I have forgotten my username and password to access Customer Zone. What should I do? A: Choose 'Contact' from the main menu and request a new login by email. Q: What time will you arrive at the venue? A: Usually 1 hour before the scheduled start time. It takes us an hour to set up. Venues Q: I want to book a disco but I have not yet decided on the venue. Is that okay? A: Not really, you need to have chosen the venue before you book. If your choosing between 2/3 venues, we may be able to 'pencil you in'. Q: Are you willing to travel further than St.Helens and Warrington? A: It depends where. The cost of bookings outside St.Helens and Warrington will include travel expenses.
